The WhisperKOOL Extreme ti is designed to be installed through a standard wall, with minimal modifications to the existing wall structure. This makes the “through-the-wall” installation process simple and easy. Additionally, this WhisperKOOL wine cooling unit can be mounted through an exterior wall and can operate under extreme conditions.
What's the difference between WhisperKOOL Extreme ti and tiR?
The WhisperKOOL Extreme ti Series operates similarly to the WhisperKOOL Extreme tiR Series and both are designed for through-the-wall installation. The main difference between the two is the location of the controller and display. On the Extreme ti, the controller and display are located on the front face of the unit, so to check and adjust the temperature, you need to go inside the wine cellar.

DIGITAL CONTROLLER You'll find the WhisperKOOL thermostat in front of the unit. It has Advanced System Protection which alerts to notify you if specific parameters aren't met. If you want to place the thermostat up to 25 feet away from the unit, upgrade to WhisperKOOL Extreme tiR systems.
BOTTLE PROBE The WhisperKOOL bottle probe measures the wine's temperature in the cellar with accuracy. As opposed to measuring the ambient cellar air, the liquid temperature measuring probe provides a more precise and accurate reflection of the temperature of the wines stored in the cellar.
3-SPEED FAN SWITCH You can simply adjust the fan speeds with just a flip of the 3-speed fan switch feature that is built in front of the unit.
EXTERIOR GRILLE Mounting through an exterior wall? The WhisperKOOL exterior grille protects the exhaust side of the system from the outdoor elements when installed through an exterior wall.

WhisperKOOL Ducting Plenum for Extreme Series
This Ducting Plenum allows ducting on either side of the WhisperKOOL Extreme ti & tiR self-contained through-the-wall wine cooling systems.
The evaporator and condenser sides can both be ducted through this plenum, giving you more installation options and flexibility.
The Condenser Coil Coating is a protective coating applied to a WhisperKOOL wine cellar cooling system's condenser coil to protect it from salt air. This coating helps to extend the lifespan of the cooling unit, especially in areas near the coast or beach where salt air can be a problem.

Excellent unit

Its now been installed for ~ 2 weeks. So far its done great. Low speed is fairly quiet and has easily kept up and the Fon feature is keeping the moisture in the appropriate range.

I've had the attractive, economical, troublefree under the counter 18" beverage fridge for well over 10 years now. Not 1 problem. When it does go I will definitely buy another one. This little Summit though expensive proves you get what you pay for.
This has been a joy to own and looks nice as well.
I'm really happy with my U-Line HWC124 wine fridge! It's not too big, but it fits 48 bottles easily. The stainless steel outside looks really nice, and it keeps my wines at just the right temperature. If you want a good wine fridge, this is the one to get!
we had our basement redone about 7 years ago. at the time we also had a wine room built. the contractor selected and installed a Breezaire WKL 3000 cooler. it worked perfectly for almost 7 years and then one day it only blew warm air. I called technical assistance at the company, and they told me I had to call a repair service to diagnose the problem. Two hundred dollars later the service tech told me that the unit had leaked all of the refrigerant and the unit would cost more to repair compared to just buying a new one. Not exactly the 20 years that others have gotten out of their unit!
Since the hole the builder put in the wall fits the Breezaire 3000 I'm kind of forced to buy another one just like it. Let's hope I get luckier this time!
I think they call it the 3000 because that's about how much it costs to replace the unit and install it!!

The purchase from Wine Coolers Empire was positive and the unit shipped fairly fast. Previously I had Cellar Cool which did not last very long. I really can not review my new unit as it is only a few weeks old. Ask me to review the unit after a few years.
Everything went fine, shipping and communication with the vendor except the unit that came was different dimensions than advertised & reported on the specs page. Since I was replacing a like unit that was 8 years old I wanted it to get the exact same unit for size. Fortunately, the width dimension was the same otherwise it would not have worked out at all...
I had the precursor WK 2200 that worked great in my small wine cellar for 22 years before starting to give out. The WKL-2200 is an easy and direct replacement. Simple installation and start up. Hoping it will outlast me.
