Wine Cellar Cooling Units

Installation Type
The 5 main types of wine cellar cooling systems:

1.) Ductless Split - The condenser and evaporator are separated. They are often noisy and need a lot of space for ventilation. Because it does not require any in-wall construction, this is a cost-effective alternative for larger wine cellars. This is a more expensive option if you only have a small cellar.

2.) Ducted Split - These cooling units provide you with complete control over the temperature and humidity levels in your cellar through ducts. A ducted system has the advantage of being able to be installed up to 25 feet away from your cellar, minimizing noise and vibrations while also leaving more space, depending on the installation.

3.) Self Contained - These are the easiest units to install. It's like setting up an air conditioner in your wine room. They're also affordable, and they come with built-in temperature and humidity controls. This unit is best suited for small cellars.

4.) Fully Ducted - Self Contained - This type of unit has more installation flexibility compared to Self Contained units. They can be installed up to 25 feet away from the cellar, allowing the cool air to flow into the cellar and the heat exhaust ducted outside. Noise can be eliminated with this type of system, depending on the installation.

5.) Cabinet - Cabinet cooling systems are designed to accommodate wine cabinets and other constricted enclosures.
