The Wine Guardian SS018 Ductless Split Cooling System is an innovative system that can be mounted on the surface or through the wall, making it perfect for small wine cellars that don't have space for machinery or can't support ductwork. It can cool cellars from 100 to 1,200 cubic feet and has a capacity of up to 2,800 BTU/H.
This through-the-wall ductless split system is easy to install and has the cooling power of a split system. It has curved edges, stylized air vents, and an all-black finish that will never go out of style. It's made with durable materials that resist corrosion and has an all-aluminum frame. It will look great as your wine collection grows over time.

FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION The Ductless Split system consists of two separate units and does not require any ductwork. This makes it a suitable solution for wine room projects with the following limitations: - No room for ductwork - Limited space in mechanical rooms - Difficult to exhaust condenser air
SYSTEM CONTROL The remote interface controller for the ductless split system lets you adjust the temperature and check the humidity levels. The controller uses Wine Guardian's Wireless2Base™ Technology, which means you can place it anywhere that's convenient for you – in the cellar, kitchen, or living room. If you need to measure the temperature and humidity levels outside the cellar, you can connect an additional controller and remote sensors to get accurate readings. This makes it easy to keep an eye on your wine room's conditions from anywhere in your home.
THE CONDENSER: MADE FOR WINE GUARDIAN The Through-the-Wall and Ceiling Mounted versions of the system have an outdoor condensing unit that is made by Wine Guardian to work specifically with the evaporator. The evaporator and condenser units of the Ductless Split system are connected by copper tubing, which is the same type of tubing used in residential ducted mini split systems. This makes the installation feel familiar.
COMPLETE WINE PROTECTION The system's remote controller uses air sensing technology to monitor both the wine cellar temperature and wine storage humidity. It ensures that the conditions remain consistent for optimal wine preservation. If any changes are detected, the controller adjusts the temperature to the best settings before any impact on your wine collection.
HASSLE-FREE SERVICE The grille assembly of the Ductless Split system can be easily removed without requiring any tools. This provides easy access to the system's controls and internals, making it simple for servicepersons to make repairs and move on to the next job. Unlike its competitors, the Ductless Split system and all other Wine Guardian systems can be fully serviced in the field without needing to be sent back to the factory.

This add-on is adjustable and allows activation to be set between 2 - 6°F (-17 - -14°C) below your desired temperature. With this feature, rest assured that your wine will be kept safe from extreme temperature drops. Invest in an Electric Heater to ensure that your wine collection is always kept at the ideal temperature.
Condensing Options
Standard: Base model with Low Ambient Protection – protects the system and your wine collection from cold temperatures or low ambient temperatures below 40°F (5°C) to a minimum of 0°F.
Extreme Climate Protection Protects the condenser section only in extreme climates that fall below 20°F to ensure continuous operation. This protection enables the system to operate in temperatures as low as -20°F.
Control Options
Remote Interface The Wine Guardian system can be controlled by the Wine Guardian Remote Interface Controller, which includes thermostat (humidistat) and monitor controls. This device can be placed either inside or outside the wine room with the use of a remote sensor.
Remote Sensor The Wine Guardian Remote Sensor is used for standard Wine Guardian cooling units. It can detect the temperature and humidity in the wine cellar and is especially useful for large rooms, multiple rooms controlled by one Wine Guardian cooling system, or when averaging temperature and humidity across different areas of the cellar. Each sensor comes with 50 feet of cable.
Wall Sleeve Using the Wall Sleeve guarantees adequate support for the Wine Guardian system and makes the installation process easier.
Humidifier Options
Standalone Humidifier (Wall Mount) This Wine Guardian Freestanding Humidifier includes a power-control cable to connect to the Wine Guardian cooling system. Includes wall-mount bracket for maximum placement flexibility. The humidifier can be operated using the existing Wine Guardian controller.
Standalone Humidifier (Wall Mount Bracket) This Wine Guardian Freestanding Humidifier includes a wall mount bracket, power cord, and a humidistat for use in cellars with no Wine Guardian cooling system. The humidifier can be operated using the existing Wine Guardian controller.
Warranty Options
3 Years Extended Warranty By choosing this option, the warranty period for the compressor, evaporator coil, and condenser coil (parts only) will be extended by three (3) years.
