Why the Z163S?

Thanks to the spacious 5.8 cu.ft. interior, you can store one full size, pony, or quarter slim keg, two 5 gallon commercial kegs, three ball lock kegs, or two pin lock kegs in this beer keg cooler. The dual tap design allows you to store and dispense from two different 5 gallon kegs at the same time.

The Z163S-2NK's durable construction is tough enough to withstand frequent use by friends and customers. It features a steel interior floor mat that evenly distributes the weight of your kegs to ensure long-lasting dependability. When you aren't storing and dispensing kegs, you can convert the keg cooler into a regular all-refrigerator using the three included wire storage shelves.

Unlike other kegerators that rely on an imprecise dial to adjust the internal temperature, the Z163S-2NK utilizes powerful digital controls and a clear LED display to give you precise temperature control. It boasts one of the widest temperature ranges of any keg refrigerator on the market today, allowing you to dispense kegs, ferment beer, or store other food and beverages between 32 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Fan Forced Cooling

To ensure that your beer stays ice cold from the keg to your glass, this beer keg dispenser has been designed with fan-forced cooling and an air cooled draft tower. The kegerator also features automatic defrost for added convenience.

10 years old zero problems

I've had the attractive, economical, troublefree under the counter 18" beverage fridge for well over 10 years now. Not 1 problem. When it does go I will definitely buy another one. This little Summit though expensive proves you get what you pay for.
This has been a joy to own and looks nice as well.

I'm really happy with my U-Line HWC124 wine fridge! It's not too big, but it fits 48 bottles easily. The stainless steel outside looks really nice, and it keeps my wines at just the right temperature. If you want a good wine fridge, this is the one to get!

refrigerant leak

we had our basement redone about 7 years ago. at the time we also had a wine room built. the contractor selected and installed a Breezaire WKL 3000 cooler. it worked perfectly for almost 7 years and then one day it only blew warm air. I called technical assistance at the company, and they told me I had to call a repair service to diagnose the problem. Two hundred dollars later the service tech told me that the unit had leaked all of the refrigerant and the unit would cost more to repair compared to just buying a new one. Not exactly the 20 years that others have gotten out of their unit!
Since the hole the builder put in the wall fits the Breezaire 3000 I'm kind of forced to buy another one just like it. Let's hope I get luckier this time!
I think they call it the 3000 because that's about how much it costs to replace the unit and install it!!

Cooling down in North Carolina

The purchase from Wine Coolers Empire was positive and the unit shipped fairly fast. Previously I had Cellar Cool which did not last very long. I really can not review my new unit as it is only a few weeks old. Ask me to review the unit after a few years.

The average life is only 7 years. If you value your wine make the investment.

Everything went fine, shipping and communication with the vendor except the unit that came was different dimensions than advertised & reported on the specs page. Since I was replacing a like unit that was 8 years old I wanted it to get the exact same unit for size. Fortunately, the width dimension was the same otherwise it would not have worked out at all...

WKL 2200 is the best

I had the precursor WK 2200 that worked great in my small wine cellar for 22 years before starting to give out. The WKL-2200 is an easy and direct replacement. Simple installation and start up. Hoping it will outlast me.
