The C7540IM includes smart interior design features like a beverage rack, foldable glass shelf, and a stainless back wall that prevents ice build-up and dripping. Liebherr’s SmartSteel material on the door is scratch resistant and makes fingerprints virtually disappear. Doors close automatically and gently thanks to our SoftSystem technology which eliminates slamming, even when shelves are fully loaded. The automatic IceMaker with a fixed water connection produces perfect half-moon crescent ice cubes and keeps a constant supply on hand for every occasion.
Liebherr offers an exterior water filter accessory for the C7540IM which can be placed into the cabinetry above or beside the unit.

The NoFrost system from Liebherr provides rapid, fan-assisted, frost-free freezing for the safe, long-term storage of food. The NoFrost technology creates a much larger storage capacity and keeps the freezer constantly frost-free.
The dual refrigeration system creates optimal conditions in both the refrigerator and freezer which lengthens the shelf life of food items for a healthier lifestyle. This technology also preserves the flavor and texture of foods since there is no transfer of unwanted air, moisture, or food aroma between the two compartments.
- SoftSystem Closing Mechanism
The SoftSystem closing damping is comfortable and highly practical in everyday use. When the door is closed, the SoftSystem integrated into the door damps the movement and ensures particularly soft closing even when the door interior is fully loaded. On built-in devices, the door closes automatically from an opening angle of around 30°.
SmartSteel significantly reduces the visibility of finger marks and is very easy to clean.
- Automatic SuperFrost Function
The automatic SuperFrost function makes freezing simple and saves energy. It quickly reduces the temperature to -32 °C and thus creates the cold air required to preserve vital vitamins. As soon as the food is completely frozen, the automatic SuperFrost function switches back to normal mode after max. 65 hours, and thus assists in saving electricity.
SuperCool generates greater cold reserves so that freshly stored food can be rapidly chilled. Reversion from the chilling temperature of +2°C to the normal refrigeration temperature is time or quantity-controlled to help save energy.
The audible door alarm alerts the user if the door has been open for longer than 60 seconds for the safe protection of the food.
In the event of a power failure, the FrostControl display indicates the warmest temperature that was reached in the freezer compartment. This helps to assess the quality and projected storage life of the frozen goods that were affected by the power failure.
The child lock is programmed so as to prevent the appliance from being inadvertently switched off. A symbol in the MagicEye indicates when the child lock is switched on.
The temperature alarm notifies immediately visually and audibly in case of inadvertent temperature deviations, for example when a door is opened or after a power failure.
With the FrostSafe, the extra-high and removable drawers are closed all around. This means that the cold cannot dissipate so quickly when the appliance is opened. The transparent front of the compartments guarantees an optimum overview of the frozen items.
