Climate Protection
For Self-contained Ducted Systems: The Extra Climate Protection Bundle includes a compressor crankcase heater and controls to protect the system from low temperatures, which is necessary when the incoming air to the condenser coil is below 40°F/5°C. This bundle also has a high-capacity condenser fan and coil suitable for use in hotter environments. It's recommended to use this bundle when the air entering the condenser coil is above 100°F/38°C (but cannot exceed 120°F/49°C).
