WhisperKOOL 24-Volt Thermostat Conversion Kit
Choosing the 24V Thermostat Conversion Kit converts your existing WhisperKOOL cooling unit's standard WhisperKOOL thermostat or WhisperKOOL bottle probe into a 24-volt thermostat of your choice. This option allows you to set alarm notifications, monitor energy usage, and control the temperature in your wine cellar using the latest smart thermostat technologies (including but not limited to Nest, Ecobee, or Honeywell).

Adding UV-C Light Technology to WhisperKOOL wine cellar coolers increases the overall indoor air quality while improving the performance of the unit. The UV-C light bulb inside the cooling system will protect it from mold and bacterial growth. This UV-C lighting system is an add-on feature to the following WhisperKOOL wine cellar cooling systems:

The Exterior Protective Housing provides weather protection for the WhisperKOOL Split System's condenser when installed outdoors. It features a wind safety latch, hinged access for easy servicing, and a base and cabinet made of galvanized steel.
The SC PRO Exterior Housing Grille shields the WhisperKOOL SC PRO Series' exhaust side from the harsh elements outdoors. If you're building a wine cellar with the WhisperKOOL SC PRO System installed through an exterior wall, we highly recommend using the WhisperKOOL SC Exterior Housing Grille.
The purpose of this Ducting Kit is to redirect excess heat from the exhaust of the WhisperKOOL SC PRO, WhisperKOOL SC, and WhisperKOOL XLT Series. It comes with 2 sizes to choose from.
The WhisperKOOL Extreme Exterior Grille protects the wine cellar cooling unit's exhaust side from weather conditions that can range from extremely hot to extremely cold. The Extreme Exterior Grille is designed to pair with WhisperKOOL Extreme Series - Through-the-Wall Wine Cooling Systems.
This Ducting Plenum allows ducting on either side of the WhisperKOOL Extreme ti & tiR self-contained through-the-wall wine cooling systems.
Both the condenser and evaporator sides of the unit can be ducted through this plenum. You can either duct the hot exhaust air outside of the house or the cold air through a vent into the cellar. This plenum gives you more installation options and flexibility.
The Condenser Coil Coating is a protective coating applied to a WhisperKOOL wine room cooling unit's condenser coil to protect it from salt air and resist erosion. Adding this to your cooling unit will extend its lifespan, especially if you live near the coast or a beach.

The ThruWall™ Room to Room Fan is compatible with WhisperKOOL Through-the-Wall Wine Cooling Units. It silently and efficiently transfers unwanted heat out of the exhaust room to balance temperatures in adjacent rooms.
Importance of Ventilation
Proper ventilation is important for through-the-wall wine cellar cooling units (self-contained) to perform better and prevent damage. The cooling unit expels heat to an adjacent room while keeping the wine cellar cool, this room should be climate-controlled to prevent the unit from overheating.

I've had the attractive, economical, troublefree under the counter 18" beverage fridge for well over 10 years now. Not 1 problem. When it does go I will definitely buy another one. This little Summit though expensive proves you get what you pay for.
This has been a joy to own and looks nice as well.
I'm really happy with my U-Line HWC124 wine fridge! It's not too big, but it fits 48 bottles easily. The stainless steel outside looks really nice, and it keeps my wines at just the right temperature. If you want a good wine fridge, this is the one to get!
we had our basement redone about 7 years ago. at the time we also had a wine room built. the contractor selected and installed a Breezaire WKL 3000 cooler. it worked perfectly for almost 7 years and then one day it only blew warm air. I called technical assistance at the company, and they told me I had to call a repair service to diagnose the problem. Two hundred dollars later the service tech told me that the unit had leaked all of the refrigerant and the unit would cost more to repair compared to just buying a new one. Not exactly the 20 years that others have gotten out of their unit!
Since the hole the builder put in the wall fits the Breezaire 3000 I'm kind of forced to buy another one just like it. Let's hope I get luckier this time!
I think they call it the 3000 because that's about how much it costs to replace the unit and install it!!

The purchase from Wine Coolers Empire was positive and the unit shipped fairly fast. Previously I had Cellar Cool which did not last very long. I really can not review my new unit as it is only a few weeks old. Ask me to review the unit after a few years.
Everything went fine, shipping and communication with the vendor except the unit that came was different dimensions than advertised & reported on the specs page. Since I was replacing a like unit that was 8 years old I wanted it to get the exact same unit for size. Fortunately, the width dimension was the same otherwise it would not have worked out at all...
I had the precursor WK 2200 that worked great in my small wine cellar for 22 years before starting to give out. The WKL-2200 is an easy and direct replacement. Simple installation and start up. Hoping it will outlast me.
